PCDI Canada Includes NFSTP Certification in Nutrition, Diet and Health Science Program

OAKVILLE, Ontario - PCDI Canada has decided to include the National Food Safety Training Program Food Handling Course and Certification Exam package in PCDI's Nutrition, Diet and Health Science program, at no extra cost. Students enrolling in the PCDI Nutrition, Diet and Health Science program on or after July 11, 2015 will be eligible, after graduation, to receive the NFSTP Food Handling Course and Certification Exam package, through a simple process and at no extra charge. The NFSTP Food Handling Course and Certification Exam package will allow graduates to learn about safe food handling practices and obtain food handling certification upon successful completion of the NFSTP Certification Exam.

PCDI Canada's Medical Transcription Program Now Includes Professional Certification From AHDI

OAKVILLE, Ontario - PCDI Canada has incorporated the Association for Healthcare Documentation Integrity (AHDI) Registered Healthcare Documentation Specialist (RHDI) Certification Exam into its Medical Transcription program. Students enrolling in the program on or after June 17 will receive the exam, along with the RHDS Certification Exam Guide, when they graduate, at no additional cost. Graduates who successfully complete the exam will receive the Registered Healthcare Documentation Specialist designation. Use of the designation on a resume or business card will provide evidence of training and skill to prospective employers or customers.

PCDI Canada Includes Multi Province Electrical Code Guide in Electrician Training Program

OAKVILLE, Ontario - PCDI Canada is now including the PS Knight Co. multi province Electrical Code Simplified House Wiring Guide in the Electrician Training program, at no extra cost. Students enrolling in the PCDI Electrician Training program on or after June 4, 2015 will be eligible, after enrollment, to automatically receive the Guide, at no extra charge. The multi province Electrical Code Simplified House Wiring Guide will provide students with important information about house wiring requirements under provincial Electrical Codes in Canada in a highly readable and easy to understand format.

PCDI Canada Continues to Get Students Connected

OAKVILLE, Ontario - PCDI Canada has confirmed its strategy of including respected third party professional certifications or memberships in career programs at no additional cost where to do so will help students get connected to careers. To date, PCDI has included professional certification as a no cost option for graduates of its Medical Office Assistant, Interior Decorating, Travel Agent, AutoCAD, Locksmithing, Hotel & Restaurant Management, Gourmet Cooking & Catering and Personal Trainer programs.  It has also included professional memberships in industry or trade associations in its Child Care Provider, Teacher Assisting, Gunsmithing, Veterinary Assistant, Small Business Management, Wedding Planner, Accounting Basics, Conservation and Writing Children's Books programs.

PCDI Canada’s Hotel & Restaurant Management Program Reaches Enrollment Milestone With National Food Safety Training Program Partnership

OAKVILLE, Ontario - PCDI Canada recently saw the 150th enrollment in its Hotel & Restaurant Management program since it entered into a partnership with the National Food Safety Training Program to include the NFSTP’s online food handling training and certification exam in the program. Graduates enrolling in the Hotel & Restaurant Management program have the option, at no extra cost, to obtain food handling certification by successfully completing the NFSTP’s Food Safety training and Certification exam. This option is also available to graduates of PCDI’s Gourmet Cooking & Catering Program.
