OAKVILLE, Ontario - PCDI Canada announced today that, starting January 23, 2015, it will include a one-student membership in the Canadian Child Care Federation in its online Teacher Assisting program. Students will automatically receive the membership at no additional cost.
"The Canadian Child Care Federation is Canada’s national advocate for child care and child care providers," said Michael Scott, General Manager of PCDI Canada. "The offer of CCCF membership to students in our Child Care Provider program, which we started in July of 2014, has proven to be popular. Since teacher assistants provide care to children in an educational setting, it makes sense to us to extend our offer to students in the Teacher Assisting Program. We feel that providing our Teacher Assisting students with this membership will provide them with a connection to pertinent child care issues and enhance their chances of success and the satisfaction they get from their studies."
