Oakville (July 30, 2014). PCDI Canada announced today that, starting July 1, 2014, it will be including a one year student membership in the Canadian Child Care Federation in its Child Care Provider program. Students enrolling in the program on or after July 1 will automatically receive the membership as part of their course materials, at no additional cost.
Michael Scott, General Manager of PCDI Canada, made the announcement at the school’s head office in Oakville, Ontario. "The Canadian Child Care Federation is Canada’s national advocate for child care and child care providers,” Mr. Scott said. "Our goal is to help students enter a meaningful profession. That involves education, but it also involves connecting them to the profession, the issues of concern to the profession and to other members of the profession. We feel that providing our students with this membership will provide them with a connection to their chosen profession that will enhance their chances of success and the satisfaction they get from their studies.."
