OAKVILLE, Ontario - PCDI Canada announced today that, starting July 9, 2014, it will be including a one year novice membership in the Association of Bridal Consultants in its Wedding Planner program. Students enrolling in the program on or after July 9 will receive the membership after graduation, at no additional cost.
Michael Scott, General Manager of PCDI Canada, made the announcement at the school’s head office in Oakville, Ontario. “The Association of Bridal Consultants is a leading professional trade organization for wedding planners with members in the United States, Canada and many other countries,” Mr. Scott said. “We feel that providing our graduates with this membership will provide them with membership benefits that will be useful to them as they start their wedding planning careers and a connection to their chosen profession that will enhance their chances of success as wedding planners. As well, the ABC offers certification pathways through their own Certified Wedding Planner designation as well as through the Sandals Resorts Destination Wedding Specialist certification program. Certification is an important form of professional recognition that we encourage all of our graduates to pursue when possible.”
