OAKVILLE, Ontario - PCDI Canada has incorporated the Associated Locksmiths of America Fundamentals Locksmith Exam into its Locksmithing program. Students enrolling in the program on or after June 5 will automatically receive the exam when they graduate, at no additional cost. Graduates who successfully complete the exam will receive the ALOA Fundamentals Locksmith designation. Use of the designation on a resume or business card will provide evidence of training and skill to prospective employers or customers.
"We think that incorporating third party recognition, such as certifications and designations, into our programs provides a real benefit to our students," said Michael Scott, General Manager of PCDI Canada. "Graduates want to stand out from the crowd and recognition by a reputable third party certifying agency or professional trade association can help them do so.," Mr. Scott explained. "The Associated Locksmiths of America is an internationally recognized professional trade association that provides membership, designations, certifications and further education for locksmiths. Once they receive their Fundamentals Locksmith designation, our graduates will be well armed to enter the locksmithing profession and well positioned to pursue further education and more advanced certifications with ALOA as their position in the profession matures."
