Oakville (December 19, 2014). PCDI Canada announced that a one year associate membership in the Guild of Industrial, Commercial and Institutional Accountants is now being included in PCDI’s Accounting Basics program. Students enrolling in the program on or after December 19, 2014 will receive the membership, at no additional cost.
“Incorporating Guild membership into our Accounting Basics program will provide a real benefit to our students,” said Michael Scott, General Manager of PCDI Canada. “Students want to get connected to their chosen profession. Membership in a reputable professional trade association can help them do so,” Mr. Scott explained. “The Guild of Industrial, Commercial and Institutional Accountants is an internationally recognized professional trade association that connects members of the accounting profession to one another. Once they receive their Guild membership, our students will be able to demonstrate their interest in the accounting field, network with other professionals and stay up to date on issues of concern to the profession.”
