PCDI Academic GuidelinesYour Study MaterialsEverything you need to complete your course is included with your tuition. Comprehensive lessons, textbooks, workbooks, supplemental readings, easy to follow study guides, and in some cases CD-ROMs, professional quality supplies and equipment, are mailed to your door. There is nothing extra to buy. Some courses may require a few simple items commonly found in most households, like a screwdriver or pair of scissors. You'll complete these at your own pace, with your book and notes open. Exam sheets are included with your study materials; just mail each completed exam to us when you're ready. For your convenience, most exams are available to take online. We strongly recommend you take advantage of this option – you’ll receive your results immediately, allowing you to move forward to the next lesson without delay! We make every effort to grade and return your exam promptly. Along with your grade, we will indicate which questions you missed, and refer you to the pages in the textbook where the answers may be found. Often, we will include helpful comments and suggestions from your instructor. Each exam has a value of 100 points. Here is the grading scale:
A student who scores below 70 on an exam will be instructed to complete another exam on that lesson. Upon passing the exam, the minimum passing grade will be entered as the student's grade for that exam. GraduationA student graduates upon successful completion of all lessons and payment in full of all tuition and fees for the course, after which time we will mail your diploma to you. PCDI TranscriptsWe will keep a record of your course progress and will be happy to mail a copy of your course transcript to potential employers or educational institutions, with written consent. Academic HonestyProfessional Career Development Institute students may not receive or give unauthorized assistance with examinations, essays, or any other work submitted to us that is required for course credit. |
